Jan is a man of habit. When he first moved to Amsterdam, each Saturday he would go to the market to get the freshest ingredients to cook himself a delicious veggie soup, his mom's recipe.
Sipping his green tea infusion while picking the juiciest tomatoes, he would find peace in a simple ritual that reminded him of home. Some 10 years later, he still frequents the same market, perhaps not that often anymore. Green tea in one hand, his daughter's hand in the other.
